How does Gutsy analyze my food?
When you take a photo of your meal, Gutsy uses AI to identify the foods and ingredients, then classifies each ingredient by its FODMAP content (Low, Moderate, or High). This helps you make informed choices about what you eat.
Is my health data private?
Yes. Your health data is stored locally on your device. Photos sent for AI analysis are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers. We never sell or share your health information. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
What is included in the free version?
The free tier includes core food logging with AI photo analysis, symptom tracking, bowel movement logging, water and supplement tracking, daily wellness scoring, and access to the Gutsy AI chat assistant.
What does Gutsy Premium include?
Premium unlocks Weekly Intelligence Reports with trend analysis, the Trigger Dashboard showing your personal food-symptom correlations, doctor-ready PDF health reports, and the FODMAP Reintroduction Guide with structured challenge protocols.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Gutsy, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual entries by swiping left on them in the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
Does Gutsy work with Apple Health?
Yes. With your permission, Gutsy reads sleep duration, heart rate variability, step count, and resting heart rate from Apple Health to provide more comprehensive wellness insights. Gutsy never writes to or modifies your Apple Health data.
Can I use Gutsy without an internet connection?
You can log symptoms, water, and supplements offline. Food photo analysis and AI chat require an internet connection since they use our secure AI backend.
